CURRENT OPENING:

We have an immediate opening for a part-time male Club Attendant/Janitor.  The current available hours are Saturday and Sunday 11:30am-9:00pm.  Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the business and is not guaranteed.  We are looking for someone with flexibility to work on-call outside the listed hours as needed. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the MALE locker room at all times
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and locker room amenities
  • Gather soiled linens / Stock clean linens 
  • Empty and remove trash as needed
  • Keep equipment, closets and dispensaries clean and organized
  • Provide exceptional service to all clients at all times through customer-centric behavior
  • Clean equipment in conditioning room
  • Provide assistance with cleaning of common areas such as the hotel/banquet rooms
  • Assist with special events, projects, and programs as needed
  • Ensure that all equipment in the locker room is properly functioning
  • Resolve member issues using effective customer service and leadership skills

HOW YOU QUALIFY:

  • Experience in a janitorial/maintenance/housekeeping
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent walking and exercise movements; bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily

The Spokane Club is the premier recreation and business club in the Inland Northwest.  It was founded in 1890.  The Spokane Club's downtown Clubhouse is a 1910 historic landmark designed by the noted architect Kirtland Cutter.  The Valley club is a large athletic facility with tennis leagues and tournaments.  The club offers combined comprehensive amenities, including 44 hotel rooms, eight banquet rooms seating up to 225, 120-seat bistro style restaurant and bar, two deli/espresso bar cafes, two conditioning rooms, basketball gyms, ten handball/racquetball courts, two indoor pools, nine locker rooms with sauna and steam rooms, child care and youth programming, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and five group exercise rooms.
