WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide best in class customer service to guests, members, and co-workers
  • Lead serving team, take initiative to solve problems as needed.
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Serve and retrieve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of food to the guest's table.
  • Ensure proper payments are received for all orders.
  • Ensure cleanliness of restaurant including polished flatware, clean glassware and plates.
  • Be familiar with all property amenities, events and other food outlets

HOW YOU QUALIFY:

  • Knowledge of dining room procedures, presentation, service, bussing, customer relations and sanitation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a bar and restaurant
  • Current Washington State Food & Beverage card
  • Class 13 alcohol mixology permit; understanding of federal, state, and local liquor laws
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Ability to take direction, work in a team environment, work calmly and effectively under pressure, be self-motivated and organized

WHO WE ARE:

The Spokane Club is the premier recreation and business club in the Inland Northwest.  It was founded in 1890 and has an active membership of 2,400 memberships representing about 6,500 individual members. The Spokane Club's Clubhouse is a 1910 historic landmark designed by the noted architect Kirtland Cutter (55,000 sq. ft.).  Other club facilities include: an athletic facility (70,000 sq. ft.) and a racquet and fitness facility (75,000 sq. ft.).  The club offers combined comprehensive amenities, including 44 hotel rooms, eight banquet rooms seating up to 225, 120-seat bistro style restaurant and bar, two deli/espresso bar cafes, two conditioning rooms, full and half-court basketball facilities, ten handball/racquetball courts, two indoor pools, nine locker rooms with sauna and steam, child care and youth facilities, six indoor and four outdoor tennis courts, and five group exercise rooms.
